How long will my order take?

All of our products are made to order. Manufacturing usually takes 4 weeks for soft furniture, and 6 weeks for hard furniture and custom furniture. Delivery will then take a further 7-10 days (Europe), or 4-6 weeks (rest of the world).

Where is the furniture made?

All of our furniture is handmade in Italy by artisans, with no outsourcing for materials or manufacturing. We also work with UK joiners and craftsmen for custom projects: everything from fitted coat storage and cubbies, to bespoke playspace installations in Corian made to our design.

Do you deliver outside Europe?

We deliver worldwide with a door-to-door service in most cases. For many countries outside Europe, we can also deal with import duties and taxes on your behalf, or put you in contact with a local broker to clear customs.

How do I pay?

Payment is due within 14 days of receiving our invoice, and before collection for delivery to your address. Exceptions can be made for account payments and with some state sector projects in Europe, with part payment as deposit or 30-day terms after delivery. Payment is by bank transfer (wire). We can also arrange PayPal invoices for online credit card payment and certified cheque payment in some cases.

What do you mean by ‘custom furniture’?

We can make furniture to suit your requirements. This could mean, changing the scale and density of standard products, to make them suitable for older children and adults (although many of our products are intended to be used by adult with child), or changing colours and fabric. It can mean, bespoke storage using our own modular storage systems. It can mean, site-specific tables, or something much more elaborate, such as the soft play landscapes made for T5 at Heathrow airport.

How do I clean PLAY+SOFT furniture?

Our soft furniture uses a specially developed synthetic fabric called Ecosoftx. It contains no PVC and no rubber latex (manufactured using a non-polluting process and do not release harmful substances during use). The fabric is low maintenance, durable, fireproof, colourfast, odourless and tactile. Wipe clean with a clean, damp cloth and mild detergent (soap) solution. Full care instructions and certification are supplied with delivery documents.

Why are there no prices on your website?

The website (and catalogue) is a showcase for some of the furniture we can supply. It introduces possibilities for school, private home and public spaces, but is not exhaustive and there will be further options available and appropriate for different project types. We sell furniture worldwide and the final price depends on location, transport costs and local taxes. We discount for larger orders to projects, according to total volume.

What is ‘PLAY+Projects’?

PLAY+ Projects is a working group consisting of Feelgood Designs, PLAY+srl, ZPZ Partners, and a network of architects, designers, education and child development consultants (Reggio Children are pedagogical consultants with many of these projects). Depending on your requirements, we can provide full interior design, concept design, bespoke (ad hoc) furniture and installations, or even full architecture and construction administration. Do you make new products?

We are constantly adding to our existing lines with new furniture. This will be added to our website and catalogues periodically. Many of these new products are made first for our own education projects, and if they have a wider application we add them to our furniture lines.

Is it possible to return unwanted products?

We aim to offer advice and support to ensure that you always purchase the most suitable products for your context. If you receive a product and decide you don’t want it, you have a statutory right to return to us for a full refund. We can arrange collection and you will be liable for return transport costs. In the case of damage in transit, we will supply a replacement product (or cover, if appropriate). Damage in transit and returns must be notified within 7 days of delivery. All products carry a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. If you want to make any claim of defect, we need you to send a photograph to show the problem by email, with full written description. We will then make a decision based on this information and propose a solution.
