Nido Inside Out

PLAY+project to convert residential property into kindergarten.  Opening September 2017.  Design ZPZ Partners, all furniture from the PLAY+ range.


New to our SOFT line, the cushions use a specially developed fireproof synthetic wool and machine washable covers.  Unlike conventional bean bags, you sink into the wool rather than sliding around on a bead filling.  More to come!

New PLAY+ light table

The Childcare Expo event at Olympia attracts childcare practioners and policymakers from throughout the UK and internationally.  Featured for the first time, we presented our new light table, featuring a large LED light panel under opal layered safety glass worktop, with an additional perspex cover to layer materials and hold them in place for close observation.  The panel is set into a PLAY+ ‘lem’ table with either steel frame of beech hardwood legs.  The light has an average 6 hour life following a 5 hour charge and is then used cable free anywhere in the classroom.  Find out more

Nursery World Show 2017

The Nursery World Show at the beautiful Islington Business Design Centre, London, included feature about innovation and design of indoor playspaces at Reggio Emilia.  The display showcased the innovative PLAY+SOFT line of furniture and play elements for young children, developed with pedagogical consultancy by Reggio Children.
