The Childcare Expo event at Olympia attracts childcare practioners and policymakers from throughout the UK and internationally. Featured for the first time, we presented our new light table, featuring a large LED light panel under opal layered safety glass worktop, with an additional perspex cover to layer materials and hold them in place for close observation. The panel is set into a PLAY+ ‘lem’ table with either steel frame of beech hardwood legs. The light has an average 6 hour life following a 5 hour charge and is then used cable free anywhere in the classroom. Find out more

Jesmond Gardens Primary School in Hartlepool named as Apple Distinguished School.
Jesmond Gardens Primary School becomes one of the few UK schools to be named Apple Distinguished School, recognising innovation in the use of technology and flexible learning environments.
Our 2012 project furnished the school and developed a furniture concept for ADP architects, working with Headteacher Jane Loomes and her staff, to create modular, transformable spaces to support many different sizes of learning groups, learning styles and activities. The school also established a no shoes policy, cited and praised by Stephen Heppell, and this award from Apple is recognition of the dedication and hard work of all involved.
